GTA 6 preorders open at midnight local time on June 25, 2026. Rockstar announced the start in a press release the previous day. The game is coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, so you need to choose the version and region appropriate to your console.[1]
Standard or Ultimate: announced prices
Rockstar lists the Standard Edition, containing the base game, at US$79.99 and the Ultimate Edition at US$99.99. The US price difference is $20. Ultimate adds vehicles, weapons and apparel to Jason and Lucia’s story. The pair are the game’s two lead characters. These announced US prices should not be treated as euro prices.[1]
Which purchase bonuses are included?
Preorders and purchases before November 20 include the Vintage Vice City Pack, a set of items recalling Vice City’s earlier neon era. Digital preorders also receive a free month of GTA+. Rockstar says that month is immediately redeemable for existing membership benefits. It does not announce a new GTA 6 online mode.[1]
Downloading before launch
Preloading begins on November 12. The announced boxed version is scheduled to be available that day too, containing a download code rather than a disc. Preloading means downloading the game files in advance; it does not permit playing before the November 19, 2026 launch. Listed sellers include PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store and Rockstar Games Store.[1]
